CAPTAIN CHRIS

I spend over 250 days of the year actively involved in outdoor activities including guiding, tournament fishing, seminars, and trade shows all across the United States.

FISHING BIOGRAPHY

My fishing career began at the age of four when my grandparents took me fishing.  I caught my first bluegill with my grandfather and since that moment I have been “hooked” on fishing.  My love of fishing has only grown throughout the years.

At the age of 15, I began my profession as a deck hand on a charter boat. I continued fishing as a deckhand until entering the United States Army in 1994. I spent my leave time fishing as a deckhand every summer until my full time return in 1998. In 2001 I became a USCG licensed Captain. Off the water I also worked as a retail sales manager from 2005 until 2010.

In 2004, I turned my passion into a career and created Northern Adventures Fishing LLC. dedicated to guiding smallmouth bass.

Through this dedication I quickly became nationally recognized as a premier small mouth guide thanks to frequent interviews and photos in leading fishing publications, along with guest appearance in nationally broadcasted TV shows.

The journey over the last 25 years has shaped me into a seasoned professional.
